My cookies bring all the beasts to the yard

It's oppressive staying in the Slave Master's house all the time. While it's nice to have a garden and a kitchen, only one person has ever dared visit him there. Seere gets lonely easily. He likes surrounding himself with people.

The only problem is that Felson might hurt anyone Seere tries to make friends with, so he's mostly avoided thoughts of sneaking out of the house in search of social contact. The only contact he figures he'll get is from the wildlife on the island, so Seere puts together some cookies that are basically oatmeal, banana, and peanut butter so that no matter what creature he comes across, they'll be perfectly edible.

Then, he ventures out into the woods in search of furry friends.

Eddie is just out for a leisurely stroll. Promise. And the fact that he happens to end up by Richard's house is totally by chance. Also coincidental is that Ariadne is outside, watering the plants (okay, that one really is a coincidence). So, to mess with Richie just a little bit, he swoops in and scoops her up in his arms with a quick whisper for her to hold on, and then he's off running.

But the best coincidence of all is running through the woods and happening upon Seere and his COOKIES.

Really, one moment she was watering the garden, admiring the flowers and their colors,when suddenly she was literally swoon off her feet, grabbing blindly into someones neck's, more specifically, Eddie's neck as he ran into the woods.

The blonde werewolf kept of running for good five minutes, when he stops so suddenly. Still little brittle on her nerves, she see Seere and says a shy hello.

These are not the squirrels he was looking for.

"Oh... Hello." He blinks at them, a little surprised by the sudden intrusion, even though he'd heard something approaching. He'd assumed it was a deer, or something of the like.

"Are you two alright?" Because this whole thing actually looks somewhat suspicious.

"Just dandy! How you doing?" Ariadne only gets set down so Eddie can dive straight into that pile of cookies like they were all for him in the first place.

Seere barely even startles when the bowl he's holding suddenly gets raided by an excited werewolf. It's not as if there's anything the cookies that would hurt him. Unless... "Hold on, are you allergic to anything?" he asks of the both of them, wanting to make sure that he's not going to have to rush anyone to the hospital.

"Blueberries don't always agree with me," he says through a mouthful of cookies. Of course, that only applies in his human form. As a wolf, there's a whole different set of rules.

Seere feels bad for Ariadne, so he smacks Eddie's hand to make him pull away. "Slow down and share, please." Then he stretches the bowl out towards her. "Would you like one? They're just peanut butter, banana, and oatmeal."

"Ow!" It didn't really hurt, but he's going to sulk anyway. He'd tell on Seere, but he doesn't want to potentially cut himself off from future baking raids, so he passed the dish to Ariadne. "Take all you like, sunshine."

With a grateful smile to both of them, she took a cookie, smiling a bit more wider as she tasted it. " This is absolutely delicious Seere!"

He smiles at her and inclines his head, pleased by the news. "Thank you. They were originally intended for the wildlife, but it seems I've come across more interested parties."

Then he turns his attention to Eddie. "I'm sorry if I hit you too hard." Of course he caught that 'ow' and he feels bad about it.

"It's fine." He's just a big baby. "Ain't you supposed to be at the villa though?"

Seere frowns slightly and averts his gaze. "The villa felt stifling today. I needed to take a walk." He hopes that's sufficient explanation, mostly because it's true. It's not as if he had any plans of running away and he would have returned as soon as he heard Felson calling for him. He hadn't even planned on meeting anybody.

It's answer enough for Eddie, at least. Besides, cookies. He's not gonna ask too many questions. "Good day for a stroll. One of the reasons I stole Ariadne here away. Too nice to be spent on chores."

"You stole her?" Seere asks, a little concerned. He glances over at Ariadne. "I hope you're not going to get in trouble for that. Or..." he pauses and shifts his gaze back to Eddie, "is this a regular occurrence?"

Eddie's doing his best impression of an innocent face. "I will have you back in time, don't you worry."

He's going to ignore Seere's question.

Glaring ever so slightly to Eddie, she decided to answer to Seere's question. " It's not a regular thing. And I think if I made it before Richard wake's up, there will no trouble...hopefully."

"Oh, I see. Are you two...?" He's trying to politely ask if the two of them are together. It seems odd for a man to steal another man's woman while he's sleeping, after all.

It takes him a second to realize what Seere's saying - but only because it's so utterly ridiculous to Eddie that it never even enters his mind. Once he catches on, he starts howling with laughing. "Oh, hell no! No offense, Ari, but no, I'm not that suicidal."

Seere nods a little, though he still finds it odd. "Richard did seem the possessive type when I saw him at the party, so I'd thought it a little odd you would travel together. I didn't mean to offend."

You two should just be glad Seere's not a tattletale.

"Richie doesn't need to know how often we travel together." GRINGRINGRIN Pissing Richard off is half the fun.

"Oh, so he does know that it happens, just not the frequency?" Seere muses. It seems there are some very interesting relationships on this island. Not that he's attempting to gather any gossip. He doesn't like gossip, probably because he had his fill of it back in England when that was pretty much all they did.

"I'm pretty sure the frequency don't matter to him." Plus he doesn't want to get Ariadne into too much trouble and force some kind of punishment out on her.

"It does to me." Gladly their outing mostly happened they stumble into each other around the island, not that she gonna admit he found him in the yarn section, looking for knitting supplies.

Seere looks over at Ariadne, a little concerned. It makes his brows furrow. "You don't like being 'stolen'?" he queries, wondering now if this whole thing is rather shady after all.

"Would you rather I do it more often?" Because who doesn't want to hang out with Eddie more often.

With the mixed questions, she looked first to Seere," Does anyone like being stolen?" Then she turned her gaze to Eddie," I like hanging out with you, but next time tell me with some anticipation."

Oh dear. It seems there's some disagreement over this subject. Seere doesn't want to put himself in the middle of that, especially when it seems that they are, for the most part, friends, so he leaves it be and distracts with another topic.

"Eddie, I meant to thank you for the barbecue. It was a nice event. I enjoyed attending. I'm sorry I wasn't able to visit you afterwards."

"Alright, alright, I'll try to send you a note or something. Not like I can just call you before I show up, right?" Sneaking around is just so much funnnnnnn, but fine, he'll try to be more responsible. Ish.

"Hey, no problem. Not like you can just stop by anytime you want, right?"

Seere shakes his head. "Not often, no. And certainly not to someone else's house. I fear Felson would be quite cross if I did, though if either of you would like to stop by for more cookies, I don't think that would be a problem."

Next party's at Felson's, everyone. "Careful, you might put the bakery out of business if you keep offering all these things for free."

"There's a bakery?" Seere blinks at that. He had no idea there was a bakery on this island, though... he hasn't exactly been out much, except to that goddamned boutique. He hates that place with a passion now.

"Perhaps.... Perhaps I could get a job there. I think I would like that." He smiles a little. "Especially since you both think my baking is good."

"You kidding me? Yours are probably the best out there. I'm sure Celina wouldn't mind the extra help." He's met her like once but who wouldn't want extra help?

"And maybe you can get us an employee discount." HOPEFUL SMILE

"I'll have to ask Felson if I can take a trip there to meet her and see her shop. As for discounts... we'll see." He laughs, finding Eddie's hopefulness rather charming, despite his tendency to kidnap people.

"Do you work anywhere, Ariadne?" He merely asks out of curiosity, since she's in the same predicament he is.

HE DOESN'T KIDNAP PEOPLE. He borrows them. Without permission.

Eddie fist bumps the air in victory, because that "we'll see" is better than a "no."

"If you had the skills, I don't see why it would matter." Then again, Seere doesn't have the same mentality as most people on this island.

"Artistic skill and a steady hand should be the only important things."

"You get yourself a job there and I'll be your first customer." He's speaking to Ariadne, but really, the sentiment goes for both of them.

"What would you get tattooed, if you could, Eddie?" Seere asks, looking over at him. While Seere wouldn't be interested in getting tattooed, he does like seeing the interesting things other people decide to put on themselves.

"I don't know, but I can tell you it's not gonna be something cheesy like a full moon."

No, it's probably gonna be something dorky AND cheesy like a black hat. Or something. <_<

Seere laughs, trying to imagine a werewolf with a moon tattoo. "I suppose that would be like me getting a tattoo of fangs."

He tips his head to the side and considers the options. "Maybe you could be Ariadne's walking advertisement. After all, if she can tattoo you, she could do anyone else. That may be evidence enough to enable her to get hired."

"What do you say, Ari?" He'd never really given serious thought to a tattoo before, but this could be pretty cool.

"It must be possible to tattoo both werewolves and vampires, otherwise... why would there be a tattoo parlor on this island? They'd have gone out of business long ago," Seere reasons.

"You don't worry about that, you worry about helping me find a good design." Those are all details, details are not to be worried about.

"You would look dashing with something of a more ancient design. Perhaps something with a tribal feel, something primal?" he suggests. "Though, I'm afraid I haven't known you long enough to be much help with suggestions."

"Yeah! That could look cool! A band or something around my arm."

[the_baking_vampire]

"I certainly hope you're able to find something you like. Tattooing has been around for thousands of years, so I don't doubt there's a design out there that will appeal to you." Finding such a thing would have been difficult fifty years ago, but now, with access to the internet, it should be quite easy.

This is how Seere finds all sorts of exotic recipes. The same principle applies, right?

"Next time I 'borrow' you, we'll find something, maybe go up to the parlor and ask 'em what they've figured out." He's already making dozens of plans and back-up plans to get this information and then get all the supplies and find a spot to set it all up and it's becoming quite the endeavor in his head.
